Corkie

Yes, we had a black lab. mix when I was growing up in Harrisburg. He was a great dog and lived a great life. He got into a fight with a german shepard and got his front leg magled in a lawn mower and he limped home and put his leg in my mothers lap and she and dad took corkie to the vet and had his leg taken off from the knee down. I remember he was very clumsey for a while and then he got the hang of how to walk and he was the greatest dog. Its great to think of positive things that was in your childhood. God Bless us all.

Taking Time

Yes, we all (including me) should take time to notice the beauty in the place where we are. It is most comon that we all rush here and there to get things done and don't see what a beautiful place that is around us. The falls in the park are rushing and the grass is really green and the trees are budding and the flowers are starting to wake up after the winter sleep. What a wonderful time of the year.
At work yesterday a mother was watching her young boy so he would not push the handicap button so when I went on my walk I asked him to push the button and you should have seen his face it lit up. I made his day without even trying and it was great....

Planning Ahead

Gee, time seem to go faster and faster and I still sit and plan for a month ahead or two months ahead. Got to have a plan. So here goes on May 14th we head for Montana for the memorial for Ed's mom on the 15th then head for home on the 16th cause DeAnna graduates on the 17 th at 4pm. That is going to be a very busy time.
Then on June 4th I head for Pierre with my Tops gals for the Convention on the 5th and 6th and then back home we come. I know the time is going to fly. It usually does when we are having fun.
What a busy time we are going to have .....but that is what make life interesting. Time to get my get-a-long going and get to work ...Take care everyone...

WoW where did the weekend go??

Got to spend time with our granddaughter Rhonda and grandson Lewis and it was great. Got some shopping done that I put on hold and spent quality time with my other half ED. It was great. Sunday ment going out for breakfast and then our day of rest watching Marley and Me. Great movie but don't forget the klenxes.

Yep, I flubbed

Now am back on track. Yeh.... It looking a lot like spring>>>I am praying for it anyway. Got my hair cut on Wednesday and Colored Thursday. I hope to post a picture as soon as I figure out how to get the picture off my camera and onto the computer.
Man what a difference a day makes is one look on life to the way it looks outside. I pray everyone takes times to look around and see your beauty outside... I find there is beauty in a smile someone is giving me to the green grass and the budding flowers. New washed streets to the lady sweeping last years leaves. We all can learn to look and admire what is around us. Take care of the child within.

Hey I am on a roll

Here I am writing again Surprise,surprise.....Getting De Anna ready for graduation is a job. But a happy one. She is excited which is great. Some times I feel overwhelmed. But I breath through it and it is better. One day at a time. Well this is going to be a short one sense I have to get to work. I pray that everyone that reads this will have a blessed day.

Happy Easter

I am sitting here at my computer thinking about the past with a smile on my face. My dad Harm would have planted his potatos on good friday and would be busy raking the rest of the garden out smooth . We would be in Church in our Easter best.
So many memories go through my mind and they bring a smile to my face. Life maybe hard but there are memories that no one can touch and that is what they are for to bring a smile to your face.
